Our Story

Sooner Scale Inc. was founded in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma in 1969 as a sales and service company. In 1976, we opened our manufacturing facility in Konawa, Oklahoma and began building our own above-ground pitless scales. That step changed the company.

When you manufacture your own equipment you know it from the inside out. You can build custom configurations. You can service it properly. You can stand behind it in ways that no reseller can match.

Field Calibration

On-site calibration using certified test weights. Calibration certificate provided documenting date, method, results, and certifying technician.

NTEP Recertification

NTEP certification renewed through qualified field inspection. If your certification has lapsed or you are unsure of your status, contact us.

Emergency Repair

Scale failures do not wait for a convenient time. Contact us when it happens. We diagnose by phone and dispatch a technician as quickly as our schedule allows.

Load Cell Replacement

We carry load cells for all major brands and perform field replacement on most systems without taking the scale out of service.

Preventive Maintenance

Scheduled visits covering platform inspection, load cell testing, calibration confirmation, and documentation. Available as annual program.

Indicator Upgrades

Upgrade older systems to current digital units. Remote display, printer integration, data output for herd management and fleet software.

I had a ground livestock scale installed at my cattle yard. Sooner Scale was excellent to work with and put together an excellent system. Also, when storms damaged my scale, they stayed with me until it was fully repaired, and contained the repairs to a reasonable expense. I would recommend them to anyone looking to install a scale or to repair any existing operations.

I purchased a Rice Lake weigh scale indicator to replace a Mettler Toledo unit that had a bad power supply on a floor scale in our shipping department. They had one in stock and had fast and friendly service.
